When you are looking at a spread sheet in excel how do you keep the headings when you are scrolling through the data

    e.g.

    04. Population of each Province, County, City, urban area, rural area and Electoral Division, 2002 and 2006

Population Persons 2002 Persons 2006 Males 2006 Females 2006 Actual change 2002-2006 Percentage change 2002-2006
    Geographic Area
    Leinster 2105579 2292939 1140052 1152887 187360 8.9
    Carlow County 46014 50471 25639 24832 4457 9.7
    Carlow Town 13218 13898 6909 6989 680 5.1

I want to keep the headings population etc so i can see them all the time even when i scroll down through the page of data.

Highlight the row under the one with the headings. Go to Window -> Freeze Pane
