HI Folks,
Anywhere in Ireland supplying FTV cards from Sky or anywhere cheaper than satone at 29.50 stg? Are they worth it even for EPG on sky box instead of FTA

Eur50.00 is very good. The card is worth it. As well as the Sky Epg, which by the way comes without the card as well, The card gets you Ch4, Ch5, Sky 3, Five Life and Five US. All the other freesat channels are available without a card.

Sounds good, www.satone.co.uk seem to have it for 29.50 stg plus 2 quid delivery so about the same really. I know the epg is there without card but a)hate all the scrambled channels coming up and b) having to go to extra channels to scan itvs etc. Like FIVE US since we had it FTA.
Anyone know how long the current issue will last at all?

Just to let you know a) the scrambled channels will still be on epg with ftv card. and b) you dont need card to put itvs on your epg. Do the Sky News active trick. Ie go to sky news, press red button. when you get the 8 screens, take out ex irish subscription card if you have one at this stage then press backup to go back to sky news main screen. your epg should default to uk epg with itvs and bbcs.

Then press blue/violet /purple button after Guide and you have Sky EPG with up to 50 channels of your own choosing.

Got a FTV card fro the last couple of years , just wondering how do I get Sky 3 back on it?
Remember a good while back when it went off my card and i know its not a matter of leaving the card in over night like when channel 4 or five goes (have to do that at moment)

Do you have to get the card paired with the box to get it to work for Sky 3?

I've only just discovered the Favourites feature last week after having an FTV card for the last 2 years ! It is unbelievably handy - no more scrolling through pages of channels I can no longer receive, just all my favourite channels together. I wish I had discovered it sooner :rolleyes: .

It was a SW update end of summer I think. Not there 2 years ago.

If Sky3 is still FTV, then leaving card in will work.

Sky 3 is still good.

I know it doesn't work for everybody but Fox News appears to work on ex sub cards.
