O.k. 24 hours to nominate away. As ever feel free to criticise me for having awards at all, not taking it seriously, taking it too seriously and so on and argue about it for no good reason. Also it's vitally important that at least one of you keep your nomination until I have closed nominations and posted the poll.

I'll nominate the Fitz then as my regular haunt.

I think the vote will be much tighter though this year, and I am not sure who will win this.

I of course nominate the Fitz, but feel that this particular nomination won't work. I have only been to one Club outside Dublin and that was the Macau Club in Cork before it was done up.

There are a number of clubs getting good press on Boards, outside of Dublin but will never win.

lol. Oh my, world weary bitterness just drips from that post.

I'm getting too old for 3 days of festive cheer in a row. I'm now in the aftermath and hopefully I haven't alienated too many people.

I dare you to cast a vote in this thread, I bet you can't.

Nominate vs Vote. Interesting contrast there

I suppose I'll nominate the Jackpot, seeing as the SE has already been nominated.

it seems the card room/casino's in the capital are going to walk this one but in order to promote clubs outside the capital why not put in regional categories sothe boggers have something to talk about too:)

The Jackpot for myself, it seems to be the only place I play these days...

I'll nominate The Cue Club in Kerry and the Macau Cork as my two. Please note, one nomination is enough for a club... this isnt the vote itself!! :)

    DeV.

I nominate the Adelaide in Sligo. Very friendly place. Comfortable and stylish. But I wish they had a presence on boards so that I knew when their games are.

'Silks'. They added money and guaranteed prizepools a few times and had bbq's.

I suggested another category - Poker Club of the Year - to better suit smaller clubs around the country. Alot of nominations here would fit that category better but if people think they should go in against the large casinos then fine.

Cue Club should be an easy winner here imo.
