Anyone know what the deal with Chorus is? I've tried calling all the numbers listed on their website but I keep getting a message saying "the number you have dialled is not in service".

I also sent them an email a few days ago and haven't got any response from that either?

Are they still alive and well?!!

Oh, so there is a problem then? At least that explains things. Wonder what's going on? Maybe they don't want any more customers so they cut-off all their phone numbers :p

Well, I cancelled my service in favour of Sky last month anyway so all I'm trying to do is organise a date for them to come and collect the equipment? Otherwise they say they'll charge me for it. I've cancelled my DD with them anyway so they won't be able to take it on the sly.

i complain about chorus so much it's not funny.... The analog service is so muck it's not worth having. Ring customer service and it pretty much goes as follows:

"Has anyone been at the wires at the back? No
I'll have to book a service call then..... how does the middle of never suit!"

i mean Who messes with the wires at the back of the telly..

The minute CH4 is on Sky i'm outta here.

There was some mention of it on The Last Word this evening too. Apperently loads of texts of complaints coming in regarding peoples inability to contact either.

As for Channel 4 on Sky, already there, as Mossy said, though some American programmes are blocked to viewers in RoI currently.

I've always been with Chorus Cable, got Sky Ditital at one stage in one room, wasnt overly enpressed and the bloody thing cost a fortune so chucked it.

What weren't you impressed with? The vast amount of channels or the crystal clear picture? And it doesn't cost a 'bloody fortune' unless you subscribe to all the movie/sport channels.

I know basic Sky is €21.50 per month. Not sure how much basic Chorus is, doesn't seem to disclose that info on their website.

Chorus is run from Limerick and as such it's cable and cable digital service is much better there than it is elsewhere. Limerick is also the only place in the country where you can get a same day service call.
