    This is completely pointless. Its not like the MM forum itself is being flooded or overwhelmed by Eve threads or anything. Theres no point in making a forum for the sake of it.

    Actually, the fact that 11 of the threads on the first page are for EvE means that other MMO topics are being pushed to the second page so that's a YES for an EvE forum imo.

    I wouldn't mind one although, the interest in eve seems to flow and ebb. But yeah an Eve forum would be good, but the mmo forum isn't active enough to swamp the eve threads or make them hard to find. I don't think there is a need for one but it would be cool to have one.

    And hobbes, yes there is a forum request forum and yes this should be posted there, but I'm just testing the water first.

    The one thing the request for the heroes forum has taught me, is that you need to build up a following for the request, before going through with it, else it will just be forgotten.

    Personally I dont care much for EvE, but I do quite like the MMORPG forums as they used to be. A few sporadic EvE threads and some other interesting stuff, now as I come to the MMORPG forums its basically all EvE stuff, which I find pretty annoying at least and a definite sign that a new forum is warranted, at worst.

    Care to post your thoughts?

    I might look into Eve maybe sometime next year, when I get bored of a certain other MMO (no, its not WoW :eek: ).

    There have been a lot of Eve threads made here in the last few weeks, so you get a /sign from me.....

    ..... but I still voted for the Atari Jaguar (dam you tCN, GET OUT OF MY HEAD)

    Definitely!

    Eve is a game that you can play for much longer than other MMO's because of the different way in skill leveling i.e. Real time and the fact it isn't just quests over and over but much more. So you can come and go if you want to which is why having a forum would definitely be nice since so many new people pick it up and get into it.
