I'm thinking of investing in Monkey Ball. Is there anyone out there who already has?

I have the one for the GC and i really loved it.

Whats the gameplay like in the new one and the multi player? Do i need 2 nunchucks for the multi player?

Any info about it would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    Nedd

The main game doesn't need the nunchuck but some of the mini games do.

I got it at launch but haven't really played it all that much as I've been stuck into Zelda.

The control system in the main game works really well though... you tilt the wiimote as you want the platform to tilt.

I've only played a handful of the minigames, but I felt they left a lot to be desired.

It's got two cool new monkeys to choose from as well.

    thanks.

was looking at the wikipedia site there and it looks like only a handfull of the mini games need the nunchuck.

might take a wander into town for lunch and buy myself that.

I've got it, it and wii sports are my favourite wii titles.

The mini games 50 of them are all fun and are almost a full game in themselves, and the single player levels whist initially easier than prior 2 monkeyball titles get really tricky soon into it, and the wii remote feels natural (unlike a lot of the launch titles).. well worth getting.

Have you read the manual at all? :)

As far as it explains the baby monkey is the offspring of the girl and main guy monkey from MB1 however this time the baby has travelled back in time as they aren't married yet.

Meanwhile the other new girl monkey is actually a mistress of the main guy and the other girl is jealous of the fact.

This is a kids game? :) Haven't seen something like this since I found out Princess Peach was sleeping with Koopa in Super Mario Sunshine.

Of Super Monkey Ball's fifty minigames, only a very small few aren't unplayable toss and, horribly, there's no multiplayer for the main game (which works really, really well and is quite excellent, by the way).

So, yay for single player, boo for multiplayer.
