actually ste and lloyd, its been canceled... something to do with water damage in the area. Out of the goodness of my heart i'll travel down and help fix up the venue next saturday but there's no need for either of you to travel down.

Everytime I go to Arklow I end up in some pub getting blasted out of it by Wolfe Tone rebel type music.

2nd - €1,000. Only 13 runners but it went on for 7 hours of play thanks to a great structure. Jeff was 3rd. Thanks to Aenghus and the staff at the Mayfair for an excellent day of poker.

bit too tired for a long report largely cos lloyd's navigation skills are poor at best and spent a good while driving around lost somewhere near arklow on the way home.

happy enough with 3rd, was chip leader with 5 left but doubled up a short stack twice then got bullied in a hand by lloyd left me scraping into the money. had 5 bb's left eventually pushed 3 handed with 85off into KK. ah well!

great little game, mayfair bought us pizza! very tasty!

Great result for Grosvenor! Could have been even better though! Had Jeff not made a move with the ever brilliant 85o only to find a local Mayfairian holding the Cowboys! Only kidding Jeff, don't beat yourself up about it, but..... AND STOP TRYING TO CATCH A GLIMPSE OF CARDS WHILE THE DEALER IS DEALING! THAT'S JUST NOT CRICKET BUDDY:D !!!!

Seriously though thanks to all who attended & hopefully with a little more promotion the next one will be bigger & better! WP Jeff & Lloyd(man that guy is so hot right now, how many final tables in a row??????)
