    Well boy,

I was there two years ago and it is ok. I went to Port El Kantoui with Panorama. It is quite cheap there but remember it is a muslim country. There are few bars there, and any alcohol that is available is local stuff. Fig brandy and fig whiskey although the local beer wasnt much to talk about.

Down at the medina (market) in sousse you can pick up leather cheap and all sorts of trinkets.

You cannot get the currency - dinars, outside of tunisia. You can get it in the hotel exchange desks and from atm machines. Tunisia is full of fancy hotels on the beach but walk outside the hotel and there is nothing - particularly port el kantoui. Everything you pretty much want is in the hotel.

If you have any more questions, post them here....

Went to the same place and second this. Personally I didn't like it. We had a good time between ourselves but would never go back. Down to personal preference really.
