Shower tray removal

    I'm just wondering ...

Is it a big deal for a plumber to remove a shower tray he has installed
as part of the early part of second fix ?

The background is that I'm considering subtracting the shower cubicle
from our main bathroom and instead incorporating shower facilities
as part of the bath to give us extra room where the originally planned
shower cubice would have been located in the bathroom.
The plumber was in last week installing underfloor heating (ahead of
floor screeding) and while he was in he installed shower trays in each
of the bathrooms. Is there a lot of work involved in ripping it away
    typically ?

Where is the shower, upstairs with wooden floors, or downstairs, with the drain embedded in concrete?

If the work hasn't progressed too far (plasterboarded the ceiling under the shower) it shouldn't be too much work at all
