Ok ive been looking for my HH on this but I cant find it. Anyway its a 1/2 PLO game and Im playing with some of the biggest fish on the whole of the Tribecca network - TaytoS&V, StraightDraw99, DickOHora, Sydsdad and Mosco. (certain names have been altered)

    Im holding Ad 4d 5x 3x

    Flop comes 4x 5d 7d

So I have nut flush draw, 2 pair, and a bit of a straight draw.

Dick bets out, I raisepot, straightdraw calls, Tayto pumps it Dick Calls, I jamm the rest of it in (c.250 in total was my stack.) 3 of us see the turn.

Can I ask was I right to be jamming my stack in there everytime? Or should I have been getting out of the kitchen due to the heat?

Im pretty sure I was right to jam it all in but I am just looking for confirmation as Im not up to speed on PLO.

    ty.

imo i would not have re potted the flop..i would have called and if the action behind me re potted again i would have just called as only now imo i want to make my hand before dishing my whole stack in...as the action is here you need to make your flush as id guess your house draw is dead by some manaic..you are in early position so if you hit your diamonds on the turn you will be first into the pot and there will be enough in the pot for a player behind to fancy a call with trips or a bad player will call with his 8 6...im sure some1 will post the odds here about jamming it all in here but in my view if you do that every time you lose money.

i don't think you have enough outs to put your entire stack in. it's quite likely that you have a worse to pair and straight draw so you're really only drawing to the flush. anyway how did it turn out

Ps i'm only learning this game but nevertheless i think this is -EV

I fogot about this thread. The game was playing very loose - a bit of a gambol fest.

One guy was drawing to the 2nd nut flush and a similar straight draw to myself and another guy had a made straight (lads please correct me here if you can find the HH - actually if you can find the HH post it) I know at least 2 of the players post on here and at least one more is a very likely poster (I just havnt figured out his real identity yet though - but seeing as how one of the players in the hand knew him pretty well then Im pretty sure he posts here)

At the time I figured I was doing the right thing - damn im gonna find that HH and stuff it into a calculator thingy!!

You're likely up against the made straight and top set based on the betting (either this or 2made straights, one with a flush redraw). Against these hands you have about 35% equity. You also have some of the blockers for the house (assuming these are no good). The only problem is that one of these guys probably has flush redraws based on the betting. I'm not sure if I'd play the hand the same way, but it's an ok line.
