    I feel there is some question you really want to ask but aren't - like "how do I get 2 factor authentication working with xx product?". It would make it simpler if you'd just ask that.

    Some VPNs will integrate directly with RSA ACE server, some will only integrate with a RADIUS server which in turn will authenticate with ACE. Maybe ACE has a RADIUS server built in, don't know.

    RADIUS provides AAA (look it up), whereas the RSA will provide just Authentication (again I don't have product specific knowledge, so I may underestimating it).

    VPN --> Radius --> ACE or
    VPN --> ACE
