Capturing Screen Content

    The way I get a screen shot is press Ctrl+Alt+Prt Scr, then paste to paint and save the picture.

    Any better way of doing this?

    Now do you see that thing on the right for scrolling down a page - dunno what it's called - you hold the mouse pointer on it and scrolls down the page - well is it possible to capture the entire let's say web page like above and be able to scroll down through the entire content? In particular, I use a program and I might get 200 lines of information that I'd like to save in some visual format - there is that scroll bar thing and I only manage to capture about 50 lines.

    My screen resolution is 1024 x 768 and wouldn't like to change as I'm half blind as it is.

    System info:
    Dell Dimension 4600, 17" LCD
    Pentium 4, Win XP Pro SR2, IE 7 / FF 1.5.0.8, etc

    Thanks in advance & Happy Christmas

    you can just press print screen on its own and it works.

    using the above ....

    hit print screen .....

    File > Print preview ......

    shows you page 1 and just click thru to see any additional pages (page1, 2 3 etc) ....

    hit print ( on the print preview screen) and all pages will be printed

    naz, will that do what you want? ..... :confused:

    [File]-[Save As] for webpages, you can save them to your hard drive and look at them locally

    you can also get a PDF print driver which basicly installs itself as a printer on your computer. Open whatever you want to capture, go to print it and select the PDF printer. That'll save it as a PDF in your chosen location.

    One example here
    You could google for others!
