Clearwire broadband & VOIP

I have been able to make pc-phone calls from my Clearwire connection in the past & hold voice chats too. Since the past 2 months I've been unable to do so. I'm in the Rathmines area.

The calls are now become one-way: The other party cannot hear me, but I can hear them fine. Clearwire says the problem is not at their end. I've tried all options, disabling firewall, antivirus, etc, even using the Clearwire connection on a friends computer!

Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

    Cheers,
    Lionel

    Exactly the same problem.

    I gave up.

    You had any success since??

But last month a guy selling Clearwire in my local shopping centre told me that yes, there were some problems with Skype etc. but that I "should" be able to use it by February.

Doupt it very much! Have just had LimeWire blocked too this morning.

    Clearwire are sh!te!

From what I understand Clearwire do alot of trottling and port blocking, I find it scary that Skype won't work on the service as its usually very good and getting through firewalls and stuff.

Blocking the likes of Skype really defeats the purpose of Broadband imho
