    Hi guys,
I have an IBM Travelstar 20GB IDE/ATA in my Dell Inspiron that's gone dead. The model number seems to be E182115 HG (I think!)

Does anyone know if the following hard-drive would be a suitable replacment... I'm on a budget rather than speed/space ... http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=300521

My IBM (dead) drive has 44 pins (22 each side), and then the additional 4 pints for jumpers... just want to get some expert knowledge because knowing my luck i'd buy something that won't fit! Thanks for the help guys

Should be a standard 2.5 inch hard drive unless it's a one of those tiny laptops. They all have the same dimensions / interface / mounting points. There's probably a housing in the dell that will need to be taken off current drive and attached to new.
