can't get sky picture signal

    We have tried to get sky but with all the trees and mountains the engineers say we can't get it.
    We have a german box which receives Astro 1 channels but no english speaking.

    Does anyone know if we can get english channels on astro 1??? either a subscription or a pre recorded receiver box? or viewing cards ??

    we live in south kerry.

    If you can get Astra1, I'm sceptical there isn't some place on your property that will get Astra2/Eurobird. If the Mountains was a problem you would NEVER have sunlight or Astra1.

    You can stick the dish even on the ground down the garden to avoid a near tree and it will work. Get a different installer.
