Extended Xbox 360 Warranty - Not available in Ireland!!!

    Hey all, has anyone been able to get an extended warrenty on their 360 in Ireland? I was given my 360 as a gift last christmas and as such, wasn't able to purchase an extended warranty with it. Having rang up 360 customer support today, i was told that they don't offer an extended warrenty in Ireland, only in the UK.
    This is Bull****. I am not a happy customer. How can they offer this in the UK and not Ireland? How am i supposed to get an extended warranty for my 360 here? My years warranty runs out very soon and i want to cover myself. Anyone any advice?

    No Advice I'm afraid but It's pretty Sh1te all right.
    I got my 360 a few days ago and seen the extended warranty (Cue Homer - "Extended warranty! How can I lose?" :D )

    But I was well pissed to see that it was UK only:mad:

    in argos we sell extended warranties on our 360's . You can buy insurance on almost anything.

    If anyone has any luck when speaking to Microsoft, let me know. When i spoke to support, (based in India), they said there was nothing they could do about it. I started moaning and was told to ring Microsoft (not xbox customer support). They didn't have a number to give me and were not helpfull. Pain in the A$$.
