hey guys again sorry for bumping but got a bit of a problem..i created a ps3 network acccount back when i last posted in this thread..but when i try to login with it now here.. v

nothing happens..and when i go to forgot password it says the email address isnt recognised..so i went to register again when i found out about this neither the email address i entered the first time or the network id i entered the first time is accepted..so i went ahead and entered completly different email adddress's and id names and completed the process..and then went to login with the new one and got the exact same message that it isnt recognised but i had got all the right emails back etc saying its complete..not sure what is happening here..could it be that you have to activate these id names when you get the ps3 and then it becomes active and your able to login?

Hmm, I tried just there but the captcha image link was broken so I couldn't verify myself!

A captcha is one of those things like an image with some letters and numbers in it which you're then supposed to type into a text box to prove you're a human and not a script.

I did this when it first was announced on EuroGamer.
I have never had a problem with my name being taken before but I thought it would be better to be safe.

Eh, I entered my ID got that check your details then i clicked continue registration and ended up back at the start. Joy!

I'm pretty sure you have to wait to log in on your console.
I could be wrong, I haven't tried to log in, but it makes sense.

^ yeah thats what i wasnt sure of..ive been asking around about this..and some people have said it could be that you have to activate it on your ps3 first..which is now the most likely case..hopefully it is that way

Yup cos if you could properly register then it would mess up Sonys first 500,000 registered get Casino Royale.

Yeah I know what you mean Slurms,
But the people who have pre-registered their user-name are at a big advantage here, I'll have my console at 12.00 midnight, be home with it set up for 1.00am link my account, (Therefore grabbing my free movie) and then get some sleep for my jam packed day of PS3 gaming that will follow.:D
