Remote Connection / Screen Problem

    Hi lads.

have a problem here in work. Basically on our client machines we have this software thats running, but needs to shut down and start back up again. The problem is that when it starts up again, a message pops up stating that screen is in 16-bit colour and needs okay to be clicked. This is unfortunate as its impossible to have somebody there watching the screen and clicking ok every time this message pops up. Its vital that this softwar stops and starts on occasions without interuption or we will lose data.

The funny thing about this is - on our local machines the colour is set to 24 bit, the clients machine is set to 24 bit, and finally in the remote connection display option screen (tab when you select remote connection) the settings are set to 24 bit. all other display settings like res etc are identical also.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

    Trilla

I assume you are using the remote desktop connection tool from MS?

and setting it to 24bit in the display tab?
