Mouse and controller for laptop

    I have decided to get a Logitech G5 or the MX518 as a result of the other thread on best gaming mouse. Now all I need is a controller. Anybody got any good suggestions? I would normally be using the mouse and keyboard but want to get a controller for other games. Thanks.

    Controller like a gamepad you mean ?

    If that is it then the Xbox 360 controller for Windows is about the best. Komplett have the wired version if you cant find it elsewhere the wireless version I dunno what's the deal with that the wireless reciever was mentioned a while back should be out by now.

    Thanks for the reply. Yep its a gamepad I am after. Just looked at the xbox 360 one. Its reasonable. I don't need to spend a whole lot as I use the keyboard and mouse more often and that looks fine.

    The driver comes though Windows update cant recall if they put a CD in the box or not (they might now but didn't when I got one).

    Anyway works great, the Xbox 360 controller is IMO the best gamepad currently available so it is the logical choice to me :)

    Cool. Just ordered the MX518. I haven't owned a console since my gamecube and xbox days so don't know what gamepads are like now. Will give this a go. Cheers.
