Having been in away for a little while i returned to find a nasty trend of breakins and robberies of equipment, both private and club...

Would it be an idea to compose a database of equipment using codes or ref no.s engraved into sights or risers (out of sight of course, in a limb pocket) and of manufacturing serial numbers of limbs. This would serve as an aid when trying to track down equipment... and a definite identifier when proving ownership if found!!!

The equipment could be listed with the IAAA or your club and in the event of a unfortunite dissapearance the serials could be posted for all to keep and eye out for... (strange buy and sell ads and ebay etc.?)
This would involve minamal effort (if done right) and would benifit those who loose thousands of euros of equipment!!!

Any ideas or critisisms of this idea?

At any rate, I don't think the scum can sell a black 2001 VBS in the Republic without it raising red flags.....

What I will do is put a list of all stolen risers on the IAAA website. Just so people know what to look out for.
