Well just watch the final episode and I thought it was great, although I'm going to miss
    Escobar
and nice Music video moment towards the end, also I wonder are they really going to
move to the Hollywood, might open up a whole new avenue for this show
I could see plenty of more guest stars appearing if there is a series 5.

Anyway just wondering what folks though of this episode and series 4 as a whole?

    Snake ;)

    Yes I'm also going to
miss Escobar. I loved how he appeared in Sean's house a few weeks ago and Sean just assumed it was his usual delusion
    .

    I won't miss
Julie. Found her self-righteousness infuriating at times and she never gave me much reason to warm her. Her reactions to Connor in S4 and her stupid "mental truama" angered me. As if Connor wouldn't have been better off with fixed hands done as a baby! Is she an utter idiot?!

As to the rest of the season
Didn't think much of the rather daft organ theft plot line although James herself was fantastic. Can't say the same for Troy's love interest - no chemistry between them.

Move to Hollywood might allow for some more glitz'n'glamour next year, could be good for the show. Wasn't made clear if Wilbur is now with Christian or not.

Some good guest stars throughout the season - standout being Rosie O'Donnell. Rumoured to be getting her own spin-off show though from this.

One thing I think was lacking this season was a good central plot arc. We had it in the last couple of seasons, whereas this season the organ theft plot disappeared and reappeared each week.
The Scientology plot line was similiar and it was interesting to see them not openly mock the beliefs but state them clearly (felt sorry for Matt at the end - Kimber's a bitch!).

My favourite moment was the resolution of the "Troy might be gay" plotline when the two surgeons tell each other, with real truth in the actor's voices, that they love one another. Great to see such a strong close male friendship on screen (stretching right into the future and their end of days).

Overall, probably better than S3 but not approaching the sheer f**ked-up brilliance of S2. Will keep me there for S5

It hasn't been confirmed that there will be a new series yet. Hopefully there will be good news in the new year.
