    Sri Lanka won the toss, decide to bat.

    Hindeed. But more rosey for SL this time...

    Day 1 - Close

    New Zealand trail by 202 runs with 6 wickets remaining in the 1st innings

    Sangakkara the glue with 156 not out, surprising as there were 4 ducks, and only one other score above 60, and 1 more score above 10!

    NZ batted poorly, no doubt. Fleming going for a duck, Astle falling in the last over of the day. "Slinga" Malinga taking three.

    New Zealand 130
    Sri Lanka lead by 363 runs with 5 wickets remaining

    NZ out very cheaply, and SL have a stranglehold on this one.
