Dexter should be on the list for best drama...and it should have won! Is big love any good? Its on HBO so it might be worth a look.

'The Wire' missed out again. Seriously, they keep giving the same couple fo shows nominations in these categories - maybe time to take the likes of '24' out from its annual automatic placing and look at some of the really excellent, but not widely known of, shows a chance.

Some tough choices there. Hard to pick between Braff, Baldwin and Carell for Lead Comedy Actor.

Love that Michael C. Hall got nommed for Dexter.

Ooook. But how about, instead of taking the greatest, most kick-ass show on TV, featuring JACK BAUER, no less, off the list, we take take the tripe that is Lost this season or that vaginal discharge called Grey's Anatomy off. How about that?

I was leaning more towards a euhpemism for its bloddy, soppy content rather than the show being crap, but whatever.

Forgot about that! The wire is easily the best show on tv and yet never gets anything. I don't understand that. Dexter as well is brilliant. 24 is good fun but in terms of it being a serious quality show...

Prision Break should be there for the best drama.

Yet again Battlestar Galactica is overlooked while garbage gets nominated.

But BSG is sci-fi and therefore for kids! You can't have that sort of stuff on the Golden Globes!

Do you want Jack to hunt you down and kick your ass? Is that what you want?

24 is absolutely a serious quality show. I mean sure, there's repetitiveness, incredulous happenings, cheese and the odd misstep(see: Season 4), but for a show going on six seasons, they're doing a pretty damn good job. My sympathies if you fail to see the genius in it. Up there with Seinfeld and AD as the greatest show ever, for me personally.

It is exciting as action/thriller shows come.I have seen all seasons and really enjoy it. But in terms of genius and greatest show ever? not a chance! The Wire,Dexter are examples of great shows.

    24 is mindless fun.

You're wrong, but entitled to your opinion.

Just hope Bauer doesn't find you.

I watched the first 6 episodes of 'Big Love' and was very under-whelmed!

However.. all i ask of the Golden Globes this year is that Michael C Hall wins for Dexter.

I am glad ''Weeds'' was nominated, because I love that show.
