my office happens to be quite close to the FAI's headquarters on Merrion Square, so when I heard some commotion outside, we decided to check it out.

Good footage, what did you shoot it with? Not a cameraphone, I take it?

Bit of a sad way to make your point. The thing I don't like about it in particular is that it ties down so much resources for just one guy - it's like when a drunk falls down in the city and they have to send an ambulance and a fire engine because the call was a bit vague. Never know what the chap might do, so you have to have ambulances, fire engines and dozens of guards who could be doing something better with their time.

This was an absolute disgrace what this guy did. Just heard that he appeared in court this morning and has been charged with a few minor public order charges although more will follow and they should. He is the laughing stock of Dundalk and the funny thing is that he will probably be banned from Dundalk matches for life and I hope he is. Some good coverage on the ELPASO BLOG.

One garda and a bullet to that guys head would have been the best option.
I can't help thinking of that guy a few years back who set himself alight in the Garda station and a Sergeant lost his life because of it

That idea is as ridiculous as the guy who went in with the petrol.
