    Can anyone tell me what is the best software for my PC to play DVDs from my internal DVD drive, as Windows Media Player doesn't seem to be up to the job, are there any good free software editions on the Web?
    Also can anyone tell me are there any computer fairs in Dublin, can't find any?

    VLC {free}

    Though personally speaking I find others as better players like Purevideo or PowerDVD in terms of image quality & scaling.

    I've just started using GOM player:

    What do VLC fans make of it? I especially like for playing flv files. A quick check seemed to indicate it was only playing DVDs I had ripped to hard disk.

    VLC is the best value one I've used. Can't beat free :) And it plays anything.

    That's right!

    BTW you can use .wsz skins on VLC!

    Another player is the BS Player... I S#@t you not...though it is apparently loaded with spyware etc...

    Older versions are ok.
