Ok absolutely loving this game but i am pretty crap at it so I was wondering do people have some tips for it.

I am growing chilis for the money so money isn't a problem but there are a few things I am really bad at

Stopping fights: Just cant do it. I have a
    glass watering can
and I drown the little feckers but they don't stop. Should i be hitting them with the ol shovel

Fences: So far I have just let all the pinata just roam around to their hearts desire. Should I be fencing them in or what. What is a good use of fencing.
What the hell does Ivors stuff do? I have no clue what this stuff does. Water waiver, rainbow etc. anyone got any insight here?

what a great game though, again it shows how a simple graphical stlye with good gameplay is just so much fun.

Ok so any tips or general gameplay knowledge would be appreciated

Rainbow stops fighting in that bit of the garden, IIRC. The statues stop ruffians and the evil professor from coming in, can't remember which does what. I think the Sword stops ruffians, which is handy. He has super fertilizer which can be used on any plant, so no need to pick the colours. The loot lantern is handy if you have a mine, the miners will give you better items when they're done for the day

When animals kept fighting I'd smack them or water them. They kept fighting. I'd put some of them in fenced off areas, that just made them sad. Then I realised I don't *need* all the animals, so when my ants and bees kept fighting, I just sold my ants. Didn't need them anyway. I only kept a few types of animals in the garden so everyone was happy.

Different horse-types don't get along. Panockies and Horsetachios hate eachother, they will fight *constantly*. As will Horsetachios and Zumbugs. At one point I had one zumbug in the garden, and I was getting master breeder for Horsetachios. 7 Horsetachios vs 1 Zumbug = War.
Horsetachios can't live with any other horses seemingly.

When I played it last (last week), there was no fighting at all in my garden. Around level 68 I think?

If you don't want to have a certain animal in the garden, but you don't want to kill or sell it, pop it in a crate and send it to yourself. You can stick it in a secondary garden or just leave it in the post office. I had a third garden that is just full of "spare" animals (horsetachios, lions, zumbugs). Only use that when I need to send someone an animal or to put it back in my main garden.

Have a look at the official xbox viva pinata forum http://forums.xbox.com/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=514. All your questions will have been answered there.

Also, make sure you dont have thistles in your garden unless you really need them. Pinata fight if they get stung by them, that was causing loads of fights for me.

Attracting pinatas, breeding them, turning sours into "good" pinatas. Growing new plants aswell, so keep spamming that Seedos guy for new seeds. Use the fertilizer on them (on flowers it's easy, do it 3 times, on trees you need to wait till they shed leaves) for maximum growth.

Some items you need to use the tinkerer. For medicine, damnit I can't remember, but it might have been honey. You buy the item and leave it in the garden, get the tinkerer and buy gold tickets (the others are cheaper but higher chance to fail). Then you select the item you want to tinker.
For the jacko lantern you have to "tinker" a pumpkin.

Koneko you the man, well not exactly the "man" but you know what i mean

I was wondering what that dude did. Haven't used him once, will do from now on though, cheers

No worries. He's really only useful for a few things, I think. Like if you tinker bread, it turns it into sandwhiches.

If I turn on my 360 later (damn you Zeldaaaa!) I'll send you something.

great site here. helps with everything down to evolving some species and what it takes to get them in to your garden.

i had evolved two species by accident and got the achievement for it and made fertiliser with a taffly by accident too. its more fun when you do it by accident I think.

taffly and sparrowmint are very easy to evolve incase you didnt know.
