Groody accomodation help

    OK, i am moving into Groody student village for the second semester this year.
    Right - rent is 75 a week, and deposit is 400.
    I only found out a couple of days ago that there is another fee of 300? What is this for?
    I rang the office but they said all would be explained in a letter posted out in the new year...
    Has anybody here stayed for one semester? what were the fees and what is the 300 for?

    I haven't stayed in Groody but I imagine that the €300 is your ESB, gas and internet. (Its the same where I stay) If your utility usage goes over this amount then expect to have your deposit docked accordingly so try to keep the cost down.
