    Effective stacks $200

    Just joined 5th hand in.

    Party Poker
    No Limit Holdem Ring game
    Blinds: $1/$2
    6 players
    Converter

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with Js Jd
Hero raises to $8, UTG+1 calls, CO folds, Button calls, 2 folds.

    Flop: Th 4c Ah ($27, 3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, Button checks.

    Turn: Jc ($27, 3 players)
Hero bets $18, UTG+1 calls, Button folds.

    River: 7s ($63, 2 players)
Hero bets $44, UTG+1 raises to $122, Hero folds(????).
Uncalled bets: $78 returned to UTG+1.

And I nearly checked the river??

would have to call here, if you called here everytime you'd make far more than you lose.

I'm never dropping this on that board.
as was said AA/KQ/89 are the only hands there beating you

KQ being the most likely winning holding imho (bar your own)

    Defo calling this

    I guess its a call then:o
I specifically put him on KQ no other hand makes sense. He taught about the call for 3 seconds on the turn with a player to act behind and this is what turned it for me.
I told him what I had straight after and asked him his holding but the scandie never replyed.
I've called raises on the river way lighter then this it's just that my gut was telling me he had KQ even before the river action and I've kinda learned the hard way to trust it everytime.

Even if I find I fold here I am not sure I would be telling the Scandie I laid down second set

or else he will give you the same treatment that his ancestors meted out to those poor old monks in their Roundtowers....and rightly so

    Priceless :D

Behind the laughs there is a nugget of truth there too, online 'tells' aren't that reliable.

LOL I would never played scared and I'm more then adequately bankrolled for 1/2 (80 BI's) so calling off 90 he wouldn't effected me in the slightest.
