Bureaucratic, monopolistic, PiTB Microsoft has finally decided to integrate VoIP with e-mail, instant messaging, and video conferencing applications in the Windows operating system.

We have it already in the proxy/NAT/Firewall unfriendly, insecure Windows /MS Messenger + Outlook express. It already does both SIP and MS VOIP.

I can't beleive it is substantially different SW. Maybe a new unified interface.

I'd bet it still needs to be in DMZ or outside firewall for video & audio to work.
