microsoft outlook

    hey guys.

    Having a few problems with outlook. basically i cant recieve or send any messages. I sent a test email to the account but didnt get it....

    any help would be appreciated.

    Who is your ISP and what email address are you using? What is the exact error message you are receiving? Check that the incoming and outgoing server addresses are correct.

    POP or IMAP?
    Is it firewall blocked?
    Are the proxy settings (if any) correct?
    Are the server setting correct? What server are you trying to connect to, if public?
    Is the server working?
    Do you have a webmail capability to check the server is working?

    I'd say your server info has been changed for your incoming & outgoing mail, it's happened to a few of my friends over the past 2 - 3 weeks, it seems to be a problem only with people that are with Eircom for their internet.
