Splitting & Cracking ATM & Credit Cards

Is anyone else having issues with Chip & Pin cards? I've my C&P Laser/Mastercard combos for less than a year, and they're already splitting along where the chip is - I don't think they're built to take a heavy swiping anymore, but unfortunately, some places still swipe (And cash machines still suck them in and bend them).

the chip on my laser card is getting very loose, card splitting too. Been meaning to change it for ages but it's still working . . .

3 customers, all in the last week, all with their cards cracking along the Chip. There's a trend building!
