Can't remember where/when it was, but I remember a guy telling a story of a bunch of friends who played together and at the end of each session they discussed each others tells, leaks and how each person played.

I 'd imagine such an exercise would be hugely beneficial to the people involved, so does anyone on boards wanna get together for a biweekly/monthly cash game/stt type of thing? as a learning exercise?

I was at the first one of those, and to be honest it was only a cash game with pretty decent players. Not much discussion took place. I think the players were:

Me
ocallagh
bigdragon
ollyk1
brianmc
sendic
bohsman

It could have worked!!!! We might try again sometime soon... We now have the ultimate venue available. I'd like to do it again sometime. You're right though... much less EV compared to most games but it still has to have been +EV for some and -EV for others.

I might play if it was 400 or 500NL.

At our home games at the start we always went over each others play and discussed what we thought of it, and it was very helpful for some. Two years on I slowly realised that some players in the game just aren't going to get it so we all shut up and played.

But thats not totally relavent here. I'd definatly play a home game provided its 50-200NL or pok3rplaya stakes me.

We can play in my place if brianmc's ultimate venue doesn't work out.

brianmc's ultimate venue is highly unlikely to ever work out because brianmc has an inability to commit to pretty much anything.

I don't think you realise that this game plays bigger than 3-6 in no time. It did in vegas lol. Obv everyone straddles, with multiple straddles by the end of the night.
