As a pure beginner at PLO, this is where i've noticed i've been losing big. Don't have a pokertracker example but for arguments sake lets say hero and villian are equally stacked on 100bbs. Hero (i hate using hero and villain btw, anyone come up with an alternative yet?) is in BB, 2 limpers,SB completes.

    4 players.
    Flop 3 5 6 all spades.
    Hero holds 4 7 x x no spades.

    a)SB pots it.

    You?

    B)SB checks

You? Say you pot, where do you go if there is a repot.

May be a glaringly obvious question for seasoned omaha players, but any advice appreciated.

fold, you are most likely drawing dead. If you are losing all your money on hands like this you are playing really, really badly.

if it's checked to you would you even bother having a bet at it or just check/fold?

    Generally repot it.

The only time to be careful of this is if there's a few people yet to act.

I've seen so many situations where two people both had the nut straight and their betting priced flush or house draws to stay in.

Neither can fold and then you give other players odds for your stacks. Given that if you win you split it, this is shi*ty long term.

Don't bet it. Fold to a repot if you do.

    A) Fold

    B) Dont Bet It As Somebody Will Call A Bet Even If They Have A Small Flush .

This would be mildly interesting if there was 2 spades with 3 spades and 3 callers click the fold to any bet and watch your other table's
