Anyone know why Tyrconnell Road was closed off this evening around 8pm? Gardai at the T-junction in Inchicore were directing all traffic away and I saw a diverted 51 bus coming down the SCR to turn into Kilmainham just beforehand - so the road was closed in both directions. Anyone know why Tyrconnell Road was closed off this evening around 8pm?

Gardai at the T-junction in Inchicore were directing all traffic away and I saw a diverted 51 bus coming down the SCR to turn into Kilmainham just beforehand - so the road was closed in both directions.

My first assumptions were Luas incident at Blackhorse or (times being like they are) another shooting!

No indication of either on RTÉ or Luas website.
