I started a new jon in October, after not working due to college and sickness from Febuary (although up to Feb i was doing a crappy part time job earning about 100 a week).

I handed in my p60 (i think thats the name of it, the one you get off your old employer to give to your new employer) and all that.

Since i got paid in OCtober, my tax has doubled each month. ie. in first month it was 40euro tax, second was 80 and this month is 150euro. This is on a 26k salary. Is this right? Or am i being emergency taxed (which i doubt due to handing up the p45/60). I though i had a tax free allowence for the year?

Any help? Im crap with these sort of things.

PS i was on disability benefit from Feb - October.
