dunnes secret sale

    just to let everyone know that dunnes stores are having a sale tonight (the kilnamanagh one anyway) at six o clock. not sure what it is for as it is top secret. they have called in three times the normal staff for it. there not even telling the staff what it is!

    It could be that big toy sale they normally do every year!! The always done it in November and December on Childrens allowance day!!

    Well.. i'm doing a small shop in the Sligo branch about 6-ish after work so will let you know "what's the happy-haps down-low peeps"!

    Secret sale? Yeah, like they'd benefit from that. Sales are used to entice customers.. that's the basic concept behind sales if it's ever asked in the Leaving Cert (to paraphrase Tommy T).

    I heard Dunnes are doing a 3 hour sale with up to 20 or 25% off everything tonight in 3 branches Kilnamanagh, Clondalkin and Cornellscourt. I was told it was from 10pm til 1am.

    Ad on the local radio up my way just now; sale in Dunnes stores in the Marshes shopping centre Dundalk from 10pm - 1am, 25% off everything in the homewares section or something....had some name for the sale...I think it was a "snap sale" (?)

    I'll not be burning the midnight oil to go and buy cushion covers anyways...
