    Interesting question

the UFR belt holders are, to best of my knowledge

    BANTAMWEIGHT 60KG STEVE 'TAZ'McCOMBE

    FEATHERWEIGHT 65.8KG JAMES DOOLAN

    LIGHTWEIGHT 70KG GREG LOUGHRAN

    LIGHTWELTERWEIGHT 73KG OLLIE ELLIS

    WELTERWEIGHT 77KG Kevin McAlonan

    MIDDLEWEIGHT 84KG ROD MOORE

    LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT 93KG DANNY DOHERTY

    HEAVYWEIGHT +93KG GARRY CHRISTIE

Just based on people fighting over the last 12 months (since January) going on what I've seen in UFR, Semi pro and Pro, ROT etc. and what I've read from these and other organisations you'd have to have

    BW -
FW - James Doolan, Mickey Young, Tim Murphy, Owen Roddy, Pearse Stokes
LW - Greg Loughran, CLive Staunton, Owen Dempsey
WW - Kevin McAlonan, Arni Iskasson
MW - Rodney Moore, Tom Haddock, John Donnelly, Mark O'Toole
    LHW - Danny Doherty
HW - Garry Christie, Karl Roache, Mark Brophy

Loads of people to add to this.

The fact that not many people have bothered to reply to this question suggests what a poor topic it is.

Nobody would knows who the best 6 in each division is and then to name only 6 would put down those who dont get mentioned.

I doubt this will be a popular topic as those who would have an idea of who may be in the top 6's would also know there is 5-10 others who on any given day could and should be included.

Maybe in a few years there will be a ranking system but until then its a matter of opinion.

    I agree.
FW - James Doolan, Mickey Young, Tim Murphy, Owen Roddy, Pearse Stokes
I'm pretty sure James is Scottish.

fair enough. I'm fairly clueless about all this. Just thought I'd throw up a rough draft for the craic, might encourage more knowledgable people to throw their opinions in. obviously that isn't going to happen.
