MS XNA Development Platform launched

Microsoft have (finally) release the XNA Development platform.

Anyone who doesn't know this is a development platform for hobby and independent game designers to construct C# games that run on both Windows and the Xbox 360.

No sign of the Professional version that allows you to actually sell your games and make money, but the website says that is coming next year.

Still it would be cool to get a game up and running on the Xbox 360, even if it had to be given away for free (and lets face it most will be).
