Wii Disaster Help me-didn't get it after prebooking

    Oh my god. virgin totally screwed me over and i am wondering did they screw anyone else over too?? i was supposed to get my wii on fri (its an xmas present for someone) and they didn't get enough in so i didn't get mine. they keep telling me it should be in before xmas but they don't know for certain...is their anything i can do?? i have been to every shop you can think of you. most shops don't know when they are getting the next stock in!

    but back to virgin this happen to anyone else??

    Well this is good for nintendo seeming as do the wii is doing great! But bad for people who want it. I say try xtra vision or gamestop in omni if you can go there. Went to gamestop 10 minutes after it open and there was only this one guy there was me and this other guy there. No que

    I can safely bet a lot of people here had similar problems with Virgin and other stores.But unfortunately there isn't much you can do but keep bugging them for information.It's rarely of any use but just keep harassing them.
    And drop into the store from time to time to make sure you're getting one.

    At this stage you would have more luck looking on eBay for one if you want it by Xmas, odds are they should be cheaper now.

    On eBay? Wouldn't count on it. You'll be paying through the nose there.

    The Wii costs less than half of (the 60gb) PS3, launched with more than six times as many units, yet it is now in significantly more demand than their "next gen" system based on the free market on EBay....
