Working from home

I've found myself living in rural Ireland with not much more than internet access. So, after 9 years in Admin, working in hectic fun filled environments I find the job opportunities are few and far between, so i've decided to "go back to college" (am doing a hmole study course) but need an income.
Working from home seems like the only option, does anyone know much about what's out there? Anyone tried it?
Am googling away but thought i might touch base with people!

I too once thought about trying this and found there is so much of this out there that you need something unique & new , which is very hard.
Probably better off with an ebay shop IMO , as people always want cheap stuff.
Best of luck with what you decide.

Yep I would suggest setting up an ebay shop. Buy in bulk from a wholesaler and flog high volume stuff.

Well I work from home and all over the world too. once I have broadband for net, email and VOIP phone, I can work. my main business is phone and email based.

Also I got a few small internet business too, selling info products online which helps. and some more in the planning. alone they do not make alot, but once set up, their automated, so money comes in without having to do much.

However the info products, and what is planned going forward is my idea, but I partnered with an internet marketing expert 50/50 so he gets them set up to sell well on the web etc...

thanks guys, am still searching for options! there really are millions of things out there so head's a bit wrecked, still trawling. Have been mulling over the ebay thing and an info based set up might be a good idea alright..............then again I might end up planting an acre of carrotts............
