Emergency Printer Help Please!

I have a project due tomorrow (I like working at night) and for it I need to print a bunch of colour images. But my printer is not cooperating.

I have windows XP SP2, and I'm using Photoshop CS2. The printer is an Epson Stylus R300. Whenever I print anything it comes out a horrible pinkish cast and I seem to be able to do nothing about it. The printer has plenty of ink for all the colours so that can't be it.

I've tried using the printer colour settings, photoshop colour settings, disabling colour management entirely or selectively for the printer, nothing seems to work.

The weirdest part is that a test print I did worked fine. I made a new image and drew four blocks of colour, red blue green and yellow. The green kept coming out yellow until I disabled the printer colour management entirely and set Photoshop to use RGB. The green printed but came out a little darker than it should. But no other image will print without the pink cast. I even tried taking a section of one of my photos and putting it in the middle of the test image; the blocks came out fine but the photo piece was all pinkish again.

Essentially it looks like the printer is replacing white with whitish-pink. I even printing this test image: http://www.colour-science.com/quality%20test%20tools/test%20files/test%20files%20overview.htm. It came out just like it looks there but with a pink cast over it.

    Any ideas?

Go to Printer Maintainence settings and run a nozzle clean

Aha! That kind of fixed it. It revealed the problem anyway. It wasn't printing light cyan for some reason even though there was ink in the cartridge. So I took it out, gave it a shake, put it back in, clean the heads and it seems to be working ok now, the light cyan is still only half printing but it'll do. Thanks.

Although by now I've done so many test prints that I'm running out of ink :)
