I havent played it yet cos I left the 360 up for christmas.
I was thinking of maybe trading it in if its not any good they said id get 40 euro for it.
I was wondering is the single player in it any good? cos Id be playing it as a single player game.
I heard an awful lot of the game options and tournaments have been left out that were in the ps2 version and that graphics arent very next gen.
    So any good?

Short answer yes... the only things different I can think off, thats major anyway, is you cant edit teams and you can't save replays, as far as i know master league is the same... looks very nice, and it still plays well!

    Have to say,
very disappointed with the game on 360.............played every version of ISS and PES since the beginning and have found this to be one of the worst versions.
Its nice to finally have widescreen support and all that, and the game can sort of look pretty enough, but the level of control is diabolical compared to the PS2, PC version. The 360 pad just cannot be used effectively for PES, same was true for the Xbox version of PES5. Very suspect game mechanics as well and slowdown in certain areas of the pitch when defending a free-kick etc is ridiculous is this day and age.
XBox live support has gone backwards since PES5 as well, so much so, that a lot of people have given up on it online.
Have not turned this version back on since the week or so it was bought, thankfully picked up the PC version same day (defo the best version you can get, as long as your using a Logitech pad...effectively a high-res version of the PS2 one with all the options, replay saves, modding etc intact)

Wait and play the game, we can't make up your mind for you because we all have conflicting views. I myself enjoy it and it is a decent enough game.

I've played em all since the IIS days too. like all the way back To IIS Delux on the super nintendo, but if youve only played this on the first week it came out your obviously not givin it much of a chance, downloaded the PC demo last nite(playing with PS2 pad aswel) and have to say I prefer the xbox version, bar the extra features tho. PS2 version I found it was far too easy, games finishing 5-5 where games generally don't go over 2-2 on the 360.

    We'll agree to disagree,
I gave the 360 version more than enough time in its first week or two......the only conclusion one can draw from it is "rush job" !
No doubt thats what the developer will cite when the PES7 is coming out for the 360. I for one was hoping that the 360 version would be top dog, but I'm not going to go along and say that just for the sake of it.
Everyone will have their opinion on it, the overwhelming view online is that the PS2 version is superior, and as such the PC one being a straight conversion is again above that.
Honestly, if you don't find any version of PES easy, there's something wrong.........2 player matches between equally strong people is the only way to play it, anyone can thump the CPU on top level, the beauty of the game has always been the tight matches between two fellas who've been playing the game for years..... class defending is just as rewarding to me as attacking. I've had plenty of close 2-1,2-0,1-0 against another long-standing player on all versions.......case in point, he can't stand PES6 on any format.....he prefers PES4:confused:
Although, the last match we played of the 360 version I think we ended up 9-6
