    Hi

I have ntl BB. I have the NTL modem connected to a linksys wrt54G wifi router and am looking to get blueface.

Blueface recommend adding the non wifi netgear ata/router they supply but I dont really fancy another full router on the network. They also supply a wifi netgear ata/router which would mean leaving me with a spare linksys.

Has anyone used any of the sipura or grandstream ATA boxes with an ordinary wifi router. Are they any good and are they easy to setup.

Also for any blueface users using the wifi netgear router, is it a decent general wifi router.

    Hi

    I tried 2 setups

Now I have: NTL modem ---->ATA Sipura/linksys 2100 ----> Belking Wireless router I think is very good quality and much better in general than my previous setup

    Previous setup: NTL modem
    > Belking Wireless Router
    >ATA Linksys PAP2 it was good but I had to stop downloading or stopping anything that use a bit of bandwidth if I wanted good quality sound even them sometimes I was still getting some echo.

    Regards

The reason for placing the router/ATA combo before your linksys router is twofold, 1 because the ATA will then pick up a public IP which means no NAT issues and 2 you will have quality of service.

You don't need to get an expensive router/ATA digidave have some cheap units which are basically the same as grandstream - http://www.digidave.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=40&products_id=326&osCsid=1f3da939ae32e6bd227133378014311b
