Holdem No Limit - $200 BB

    CO ($4,330) [Hero]
    Button ($3,375) [sid6815 ]
    SB ($3,465) [Povlock ]
    BB ($3,120) [vincenzoo ]
    UTG ($3,710) [smeghead ]

Hero is CO with Ts, Td
    Preflop: (5 players, $300)
smeghead folds, Hero calls 200 and raises 400, 2 folds, vincenzoo calls 400

    Flop: 3d, 3c, 5s (2 players, $1300)
vincenzoo bets 800, Hero calls 800

    Turn: 4s (2 players, $2900)
vincenzoo bets 1,720 and is All-In, Hero???

Also what do you think about the flop call, i think this maybe should have been a fold or a push. I dont think he was going to drop this hand to an all in with $2900 in the pot and 1700 left behind but i have only 2 outs to improve my hand so seeing the next card is most likely to favour my opponent more than me.

Had only seen 2 showdowns with vincenzoo upto this and he raised large with Pocket Queens on a similarly low flop and got all in preflop with QQ. But my thinking was if he has KK,QQ,AK hes going to pushing all in preflop if hes AA or JJ he might want to slowplay Aces and see how the flop goes with JJ before getting committed and similarly with 99-22, So im putting hes range as either AQ-A10 or AA,JJ or 99-22

I'd have raised more preflop and I'd have pushed postflop. Your (should be)playing to win - not just ITM.

Also... with the range your putting him on its a call.

I didnt want to invest too much on the raise as i was willing to drop it to an all in, i just wanted to make a steal. I know 10's isnt a bad all in hand but i didnt want to get into a race with AK,AQ,AJ,KQ etc when im chip leader with 5 left. I am trying to win this but i just think i could pick a better hand to risk an all in

Its a call now for me. I would have just pushed to his flop bet. I dont have a problem with making it 3x preflop.

Bet more preflop and fold now. Any ace or a six has you dead as a door nail bar the case 3 or one of the two tens, why did you minimum raise it? You need to raise at least 3 big blinds preflop and preferably 4 followed up by a postflop bet or shove. If he shoves over the top of your initial preflop raise then it's a judgement call but by minimum raising you are only giving value to your opponents to call with any two and catch a nice cheap flop to hurt you badly.

Im not sure you read any of the post right:)
He did raise 3xBB preflop not a minraise. There is not a 4 card straight on board either.

    Stealing with TT?

    You're a bit of a maniac.

I would concentrate on playing much tighter you're a bit of a loose cannon atm.

I would call and expect to see 66-99 a lot.

600 is fine pre-flop, and your 'i was willing to drop it to an all in, i just wanted to make a steal' comment is sensible enough, despite the caustic reply from NTB.

I've played Vincenzoo a few times this month, and imho he's nothing special at this level (i.e, he's not a total idiot to be milked, nor is he an above average player).

So you've raised pf, he's called and he donks you on the flop. Therefore he hasn't flopped a monster??? (I'd probably push the flop).

Turn card looks innocent enough. I call his all-in expecting to see 66-99, JJ, or an appalling A5 (my money is on 66 if theres a prize :) ).

play a fair bit here meself and he's nothing special, A2/A3 would be brutal but not unheard of. For pure sh1ts and giggles I'll go with a ball crawling 67 sooted...I'd be pushing the flop though

Thanks for the replies...This is how it played out

Holdem No Limit - $200 BB

    River: 2s ($6340)

    Results: Hero has Ts, Td
    vincenzoo has 2d, Ad
vincenzoo wins $6340 with Straight 5432A

Now i didnt post this because of the bad beat, in hindsight i taught that my flop call was terrible as it allowed him a free card. When he bet on the flop i had him on a pocket pair so i wasnt too woried about giving him a free card but i taught he might be trapping with a high pair so i was caught between pushing or trying to see a cheap showdown if he hadnt a strong hand.

Not much point in crying over spilt milk but if i had of pushed all in im pretty sure hes dropping this gutshot on the flop.
