insurance will be an extra 250 a year, and if i went fully comp it's about 2400, with my provisional licence, even if i get a full licence it will be only 200 less.


Of course i will get it restricted straight away....

I could consider selling my FR one... Defo cheaper insurance with AON. I am currently just over €1000 fully comp.

The one I have is the exact same as this one.

ahhh it's the non S model, still nice, but a little diff, and i really perfer the S model.

guess i should look at trading in my dragstar 1st also... lets hope for a few €€€

Sutty doesn't live here anymore

As for my response,

Great bike , fantastic sound off it Don't bother getting it restricted, nobody cares.

Best of all its black and everyone knows black bikes are wayyyyyy cooler and faster than anything else on the road.:D

Edit- make sure you get that checked out and given a clean bill of health before you part money.

make sure you sell the dragster before you get the new bike.
i still have a virago sitting in my shed because i was going to sell it after i got the bros.
that was 2 years ago.

125cc cruisers dont shift unless you really try.

Bought an sv650s in 2001 and held onto it for a couple of years. Wish I still had it.. Cracking little bike..

The older model has a Haynes manual, if you wanted to do any mechanicking..
In fact, I still have the Haynes covering the older SV650(s) model, if anyone is looking for one.. (Say 10 quid to a nominated charity?)

I also have VRF haynes manual, and an RVF (I think) manual if anyone wants em'.. PMs on a postcard.

The SV's are really nice bike and do indeed have a fantastic rummble off them with the right cans.

To help with the insurance I sugest you do the Aon Grade tests. (get used to the bike first though)

I'd go down with you my-self. But I am in Waterford at the weekend. Just remember, its not the dragstar. So no slapping open throttle at take off ok

Well, im gonna put this on hold for the mo, need to get rid of the dragstar 1st, and then i'll prob buy from the UK. it seems the quality of bilkes over there are far better, from lower milage, to incredible mods for low cost.
