What Do you want to See on the VC?

What games do you want to see coming out on the VC in the near future. My hope is that we get the N64 game Sin and Punishment, I always wanted to play that game but they gave it no Euro release, shocking!
Anyways, what else is there out there from the huge video gaming past that you want to resurface and steal your social life?

Oh Majoras Mask. There is little to no hope of any rare games coming out which is a disaster. I wanna finish Jet Force Gemini!!

A Link to the Past and Mario World are two games I never really get sick of playing.

Wouldn't mind the old top-down/side-scroller 'Turtles game and Spy vs Spy for the NES. The first two NES games I owned, fond memories of both of those.

After that, I never really played the N64 much so don't really know what to look for on that but I'd be interested to see what I missed first time around.

I suppose Golden Eye would be nice, but to be honest I didn't really enjoy it at the time. Didn't buy into the hype whatsoever - Quake was released the year before on the PC and so 'amazing for a console game' and four player split-screen just didn't cut it.

Maybe Shadow Run for the SNES or MegaDrive (versions were very different, so maybe both) - that was a good game. And Chrono Trigger. Never finished that.

mmm.... masks. One of my favourite gaming experiences ever.
Would like to finish Jet Force Gemini too, typicallly got to the collect all the collectable bits- bastards! :p

Never played Blast Corps or Space Station Silicon Valley either, i'd like more of the rare underappreciated gems and great multiplayer games.

(That said i gotta get me a wii first anyway! Stupid preorder bulls**t!)

I was convinced at the time that there was a glitch that meant you couldn't get all the bits! that collecting lark was ****ing tough

I'd like to see some obscure games especially the turbografx ones.

    Looking forward to lylat wars.

Would like to see Sapphire and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood on the Turbografx.

Gunstar Heroes will be worth shelling out for. Would also like to see Sin and Punishment (N64) and Alien Soldier (MD).

Rocket Knight Adventures and Sparkster (snes version not awful megadrive one) would be nice.

Pity we are getting Super Probotector and not the proper Contra 3.

    More Bonk games and Plok!

Can't wait for Killer Instinct on SNES and N64 never got to play the N64 game. There is a huge back catalogue of games I never got and regretted that I will now be able to catch up on. I love this feature.

They need to get quicker with the updates. They are just uploading roms after all. It shouldn't take too long aside from testing. And they should concentrate on getting the bigger selling games up quicker imo.

Are there plans to make the Streets of Rage series available? Now that'd be definitely worth getting.

    An excellent choice!

I can't really see the VC being much use to me, I just have all my old favourites on my PC.:D I mean I still have all my old consoles and games but why go through all the hassle of setting them up when you can just play them all in the same place on the same machine with a great Pad?

I don't know, I'm hoping they can still release all the Rare titles they had back then. After all it was theirs then.Hence my hoping for Conkers Bad Fur Day.
I still have it on the N64 and I have the X-Box version also, but I would still love to play it on the Wii.Imagine that game with online play the old multi-player way?***starts to drool***

    Gunstar Heroes *\o/*

    I'll be having that :)

Conkers Bad Fur Day what a game!!! had it on the N64, i dont think there has been a game quite like it since... well except the xbox version. Some parts of that game were really hard if i remember correctly.

Yeah it did seem pretty hard all those years ago.
But recently finished both the N64 and the X-Box version with no problems.
Admittedly the X-Box one is a lot easier.

Do you think they will allow online play if they release it through the VC?

I don't think Nintendo are going to waste resources soing online code. I think the said as much themselves. Shame, would love some online SF2.

For the price they're charging for 20 year old games, I really wish they would.

They aren't adding any features to any of the games, its an as-they-were thing. If it didn't have online there won't be online in any of the old VC games basically. But when they start making new games for the VC there could be...

    SPARKSTER!!! :D

    Banjo Kazooie & Banjo Tooie

And I'd also like to see some original arcade / independant games.
Theres no reason a game like Wii Play couldnt be released for download, and at €5-10 would be a lot more desirable than some old crap at €10....

    Mischa Barton naked................................

I would love to see Paper boy oh, and is there duck hunt you know using the wiimote instead of the light gun?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,453 ✭✭✭showry

It would have to be Blast Corps.
I left the N64 at my mother in laws for when all the kids come over and take out Blast Corps every time I'm there.
It's not looking likely though is it?

I read somewhere about SNK planning to release the Samurai Shodown series so I'll be looking forward to SS2, assuming of course it gets a European release.
