I have carried out print head maintenance according to the printer manufacturer's instructions which helps temporarilyand as a result the cartridges are nearly empty as this procedure uses alot of ink.

Has anyone else had this problem with Canon printers / cartridges? As I say, the cartridges are OEM and within the BB date.

Might just be a dodgy batch. Get onto cannon. See what they have to say about it.
