Superstitions and habits

This might be completely off the beaten track but I'm just curious and I'm going to post it anyway.

Before playing does anyone have any superstitions or anything they like to do? Let me give you an example or two:
I know some people have "lucky" chips and won't play a tournament placing them with their stacks on the poker table.
Also I know some people like to get up and go for a walk after they receive a bad beat - to cool off and to change their luck.

Anyone do or have anything like that?

Also if you are running bad - what if anything do you do to change your fortune?

I do the same as lloyd, go for a little stroll around if Ive got a hammering in a hand, as I definitely play muppet poker for a few hands after.

I have a padraig pearse commenerative coin which I protect my cards with. It belonged to my mam and I found it in her room when after she passed away. I have forgotton it once or twice and have been all over the shop playing. Strange I know.

When I bought my first car a Subaru Just, I had a little statue of St. Christopher, the patron saint of travellers on the dash board. The car never broke down, no accidents, nothing so I brought him with my for my new car.

Funny I never thought i was superstitious.

not a superstition, more a habit.
I complusively fiddle and organise my chips, have them stacked in order of value.
I also have to in stacks to groups of regular amounts, ie 25 chips in stacks of 4 or 8, 100 in 5 or 10. So that I can grab a pile and know exactly what is there.

I'd believe it off Martin alright, but not you. Then again Martin wouldn't want to chance damaging the car like that.
