Do GC games need a memory card?

    Gonna get a few Gamecube games and controls for my wii, Do I need a memory card aswell or will they save to the wii's memory?

    I believe that you will need a memory card. The Wii has GC memory slots. The cards are really cheap though :)

    AFAIK gamecube games need a gamecube memory card plugged in (which is annoying cause you can't close the memory flap when they're plugged in), putting in an SD card will only increase the memory for wii type things. And you won't need to do that for a while unless you're going to buy every VC game that comes out over the next few months...

    I'll try and see if I can copy my gc saves to the wii memory later.
