Singha and Chang Beer, Thailand

After spending a few weeks in Thailand this summer I grew to love the local beers, both Singha and Chang, with a minute preference for the ever-so-slightly more expensive Singha. Imagine my delight last Friday when, having not tasted the stuff in 4 or 5 months I spotted a few bottles in my local Molloys (Coolmine, Dublin 15), and couldn't resist! I was even more delighted to see it was a fairly reasonable €1.85 a bottle, though they were half that in Thailand. :D

I was at the work X-mas party in a Thai restaurant on Friday and had a couple of bottles there too! It's becoming almost as regular as it was during the summer!

Anyone else have a soft spot for either of these two? Do many places sell them? I've since seen them in Dunnes off-license.

I wouldn't say I love Singha but I did enjoy drinking loads of bottles of it every night I was in Koh Samui.
I loved Thailand so much that I'm getting married there in 15 months on the beach in Koh Samui!

I guess I'll be having a few Singha's on my wedding night.

On a side note I got myself a fairly cool Singha T-Shirt while I was there, but when I got it home and washed it, it shrunk to a baby sized t-shirt.....sick!
